The breakthrough came when they managed to partially recover a conversation from a background noise in the video, leading them to an address on the outskirts of town. A raid on the location resulted in the arrest of a suspect and, finally, the rescue of Emily Smith.
The video continued, showing Emily being led into a car by someone. The license plate was obscured, but Jameson's team quickly got to work trying to enhance the footage.
Over the next few days, they worked tirelessly, using every piece of technology at their disposal to try and find out who had sent the video and, more importantly, where Emily was now.
The Smith case was a cold one, a young woman who had disappeared five years ago without a trace. Despite the best efforts of Jameson and his team, they had never found any leads that could bring them closer to solving the mystery of her disappearance.
