As they set out on their journey, they encountered a new and formidable foe, a rival treasure hunter named Scar (played by a charismatic actor like Tom Hiddleston). Scar was ruthless and cunning, and he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.

As they navigated through these dangers, the family also had to contend with their own personal struggles. Grug and Ugga had to confront their own doubts and fears about their ability to protect their family, while Thunk, Gran, and Guy had to learn to work together and rely on each other's strengths.

In the end, it was Guy who came up with a plan that would ultimately lead to their victory. Using his knowledge of the ancient map and his quick thinking, Guy was able to outmaneuver Scar and his sidekick, and claim the Golden Acorn for himself.

The Croods family was living their best life in their new home, a beautiful cave filled with all the modern amenities they could ask for. Grug (Nicolas Cage), the patriarch of the family, had finally found a sense of peace and stability after years of wandering through the prehistoric wilderness with his wife, Ugga (Claudia Black), and their three kids, Thunk (Clark Duke), Gran (Emma Bunton), and Guy (Ryan Newman).

But as they held the Golden Acorn in their hands, the Croods realized that its true power lay not in granting wishes, but in bringing them closer together as a family. They decided to use the Golden Acorn to create a better life for themselves and for their community, and they returned home to a hero's welcome.
