The ninth season of the popular American sitcom "Two and a Half Men" premiered on September 17, 2011, and concluded on February 14, 2012. Created by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, the show revolves around the lives of two brothers, Charlie and Alan Harper, and Alan's son, Jake.
Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) and his son Jake (Angus T. Jones) move in with their uncle Martin (John Beasley) in Malibu. Meanwhile, Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher), a billionaire internet entrepreneur, buys Charlie's beach house and becomes a part of the show.
The ninth season consists of 16 episodes, each approximately 22 minutes long. The storyline picks up where the eighth season left off, with Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) having been killed off-screen after his character's wild antics became too much for the show's producers.
